New Production: Titizé, a venetian dream

 

The new acrobatic show of the Teatro Goldoni in Venice - written and directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca - combines commedia dell'arte with fascinating scenic effects and thus invents a new visual aesthetic, supported by versatile artists in aerial, ethereal worlds in which miracles are sometimes naive, sometimes genius, sometimes surreal.

There is the night and its madness, the clowns as charlatans, floating objects, flying acrobats, real and surreal rain and a constant repetition of impossible balancing acts. There are traditional characters that are kaleidoscopically multiplied, divided, dismantled and reassembled. You see Venice in all its splendour, its atmosphere, its poetry and the mysteries that surround it.

 

After the premiere in July 2024 and performances until October at the Teatro Goldoni in Venice, the international tour will start through theatres and opera houses worldwide.
